Skyhoundz Local - Fullerton, CA
Kicking things off in 2007 is the Mukenthaler Center Skyhoundz Local! With teams rusty from a winter off nursing sore muscles, and huddling inside from the horrendous winter weather here in Southern California the disc dog team made their way to the field to get the blood flowing again in long dormant paws.
Bruce Brantley showed that he and Casey can't be help down by unbearable temperatures in the 70s and a few rain showers that plague the California Coast. Bruce and Casey posted a great freestyle round followed by a MONSTER Distance Accuracy round of 20 points to take 1st place! Benny Wong and KD were right there tieing Bruce in the Freestyle round but falling short by two points in the Distance Accuracy. What a great way to start off the season!
Bailey and I needed to kick off a bit of rust and finished a respectable 5th place overall.
