Ashley Whippet Invitational World Championship Website

I was perusing the AWI website to get information on the upcoming AWI World Championships on November 1st at Knott's Berry Farm when I noticed a very familiar pair of eye staring at me for a moment. I looked up and the banner on the top of the website changed. It was slowling rolling through a number if images of dogs doing frisbee catching tricks. So I waited, and stared. After about 8 pictures there he was again! Bailey! Close up, sideways, catching a disc. He looked awesome! How cool is that, that they like the picture enough to use on the banner of their website.

Even if I hold Bailey back with my sub-par disc handling skills in competition, at least he already has this honor. :-)

WestSideToday - August 2004

This story was run after Bailey and I returned from the 2004 ESPN Great Outdoor Games in Madison Wisconsin. We were ranked as one of the top 12 disc distance dog and handler teams in the world. We took 6th place at the event.
